Well, I finally took the plunge and built a computer to run Microsoft Vista. It is very different from Windows XP. It requires 512 megabytes of RAM in order to install, and has some very serious video card requirements.
I have found workarounds for several of my older peripherals and applications, so i don’t need to replace them at the moment. I believe the main complaint regarding incompatibility with older hardware and software is the same thing that happened when XP came out. I predict that in another year, it will be difficult to find new software and hardware that is compatible with Windows XP and earlier versions.
That’s my opinion.
