Is Senator Arlen Specter a Turncoat?

Since Senator Specter announced he is switching from the Republican party to the Democratic party, some have called him a turncoat, or a “traitor” to the Republicans.  The way I see it, he is finally doing something honest. For way too long, he has called himself a Republican, when in reality, his actions and his votes in the Senate have aligned with the Democratic agenda.

This will help pave the way for Obama to get his Fascist/Socialist policies enacted even faster as the Republicans will not be able to effectively mount a  filibuster in the Senate.
